Here in Boston, we love our sports.  Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins...  But we know you love your teams as well, wherever you are.  Americans love our sports!  The wonderful thing about designing a wedding ring with us is that you can choose to represent your favorite team in your ring and still end up with a sophisticated wedding ring - rather than some factory made, cheap looking sports ring. 

People who love sports love HAND-MADE.  Those of us in the wedding jewelry industry understand that there are really two camps, two sides, two different teams working alongside eachother and we almost never intersect.  There is the factory made, gold and diamonds side and then there is the handmade, Titanium and Natural products (like wood wedding rings and stone wedding rings) side.  We are on the handmade/titanium/natural products side.  It doesn't mean we hate diamond/gold people, it is just that we prefer handmade rings to factory made rings.  And while there are of course still a few goldsmiths out there, the vast majority of gold rings are factory made and largely overseas.  Sadly, even handmade titanium ring makers are starting to get ripped off by factories.  We suggest you ask the name of the single craftsman making your ring before purchasing a "handmade" ring.  The name of our Ring Maker is Scott Richter.

People who love sports love DURABLE WEDDING RINGS.  We also prefer the use of sustainable materials over gold and diamonds.  That is just our vibe.  The other great thing about titanium is that it is extremely durable.  Gold is like butter compared to titanium which is why gold cannot be reliably inlayed with wood, stone, beach sand, etc.  Titanium is insanely tough, which is why it is not only great for wedding rings but is also awesome for constructing SR-71 Blackbirds, artificial limbs, bicycles, spaceships, you name it.  If titanium can keep the fastest plane ever built together, it can certainly handle your finger.

Q: How do I get sized?

A: WE STRONGLY SUGGEST PURCHASING MINTER & RICHTER CUSTOM SIZERS to guarantee you get the absolute perfect fit for your ring. The industry-wide standard for ring size carries many variables (different measuring tools, ring widths, ring materials, and design). Factory-made bands are sized LESS accurately than our handmade bands. Therefore, getting sized at a factory jewelry store does not guarantee that the size will be correct. We offer Sizing Exchanges for life for half price. But getting Custom Sizers ensures that you will not need a sizing exchange. A sizing exchange is 50% the cost of the original if you were not sized on our custom sizers.

1. Minter & Richter Custom Aluminum Sizers ($45 for a set of 3 sizers): If you have a general idea of what your ring size might be, we can make you a set of custom aluminum sizers (plain aluminum bands) in three different sizes at your preferred width. This allows you to spend time wearing each sizer for a day or two and finding out which one offers the most comfortable fit. Finger size can fluctuate slightly throughout the day due to water intake, temperature, etc. so this is an excellent way to get an accurate representation of exactly how your final ring will fit. We request that customers purchase their final ring(s) at the same time as the sizers. We will ship you the sizers along with a SASE for convenient return (domestic only – international must pay for return shipping). Once you confirm your ring size we begin making your rings with unconventional ring materials!
